FIRST ITALIAN FOOD TRUCK ROLLS OUT ON THE STREETS OF SOUTH FLORIDA
MIAMI, FL, JULY, 2011: Mangia Mia Italian Kitchen’s, “The Meatball Truck” has joined the convoy of food trucks that are fast becoming a craze in South Florida. Specializing in gastronomic meatballs, Mangia Mia’s Italian Kitchen provides delicious Italian food at valued prices.
Mangia Mia Italian Kitchen offers three different types of meatballs. Mangia-Balls are classic beef meatballs. Fowl-Balls are chicken meatballs served in a garlic parmesan sauce. Veg'ta-Balls are the "no-meat”-ball and are served in a pesto sauce. All Balls are served in a variety of ways whether in a grinder (sub) sandwich, a grilled smasher sandwich or of course “Commando” style with just sauce. In addition, Mangia Mia Italian Kitchen offers classic Italian food like Chicken Parmesan as well as other Italian street food items such as Arancini (fried risotto balls), Garlic Fries, and Fried Mozzarella Balls. “Mangia Mia” (pronounced Mon-Ja Mee-ha) simply means "Eat Mine" in Italian. Proprietors and Pinecrest residents Patrick and Kimberly Murdock have worked in the hospitality business for more than 25 years, and launched Mangia Mia Italian Kitchen in response to friends and customers who have enjoyed their unique Italian cuisine at their home but wanted more.
